Banana Bread

What is one thing everyone is making during this quarantine? Banana Bread! I am, of course, no exception. However, this recipe is such a healthy twist! It makes for a super moist and delicious bread!

This recipe has quite a few ingredients, but most are baking staples! You will need: egg whites, 4 ripe bananas, unsweetened applesauce, ground nutmeg, honey, cinnamon, ground ginger, milk chocolate chips, coconut oil, chopped walnuts, whole wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda.

Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees and grease your loaf pan.

Peel and mash the ripe bananas

Melt coconut oil and let cool a bit. Then add to mashed bananas

Add honey

and applesauce

and egg whites

In a separate bowl, mix together flour

baking powder

baking soda

cinnamon
Picture
nutmeg
Picture
and ground ginger

combine both mixes together then fold in walnuts and chocolate chips

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes or so then ENJOY!
