Lemon Chess Pie

When you see a recipe that is notated as "Good, Good, Good and I mean GOOD!" You have got to try it! Nana wrote in her cookbook those exact words so I had to try it and let me tell you... it did not disappoint. It's simple, refreshing and delicious! It goes a little like this:

You will need sugar, butter, flour, 3 eggs, cold water and 2 lemons (mine were pretty small so I used 3 lemons) and one pie crust.

Start by spreading your pie crust across your pie plate.

Pour 1 1/2 cup of sugar into the mixing bowl.

Add in 1 1/2 tbsp of butter

And 1 Tbsp of flour.

Add in your eggs and beat well.

Next zest 1 lemon

Add in lemon juice and water and mix well.

Then throw that bad boy in the oven for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

This is the deliciousness you'll come out with! Enjoy! This would be delicious with cool whip! Pro Tip: Doubling this recipe will make 3 pies!
