For this recipe you will need: 1lb of ground beef, 2 lbs of red, Yukon, or russet potatoes, beef stock, butter, thyme, garlic cloves, frozen mixed veggies, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, flour, salt and pepper. Start by boiling potatoes for the mashed potato mixture. In a skillet, brown ground beef Once beef is browned, add in yellow onion and... ..shredded carrots Once onion and carrots are soft. Add in frozen mixed veggies ![]() Now add in butter and... ...flour then add in some fresh thyme and minced garlic and the last ingredient for the meat mixture is beef broth. Once the sauce has thickened, transfer into a baking dish Now it's time to turn your attention to the potatoes. Add in the butter... ...and CHEESE and heavy cream and salt and pepper to taste Mix until creamy and DELICIOUS! Spread mashed potatoes on top of the meat mixture. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
